My name is Devika, and I am the proud owner of a candle company called Cleversh Inc. Originally from Mumbai, India, I moved to Canada in 2016 for my master’s degree and have worked in the tech industry for five years. The art of handicrafts is a skill passed down to me by my grandmother and grandfather.

Since I was a kid, I’ve watched my grandmother create exquisite blankets out of our baby clothes and tailor beautiful birthday dresses for my sister and me—something we eagerly looked forward to every year. Inspired by her creativity, I’ve always been passionate about arts and crafts, painting, and making handmade gifts for my friends and family.

In July 2023, I started Cleversh - House of Aromatic Candles. At Cleversh, we specialize in crafting eco-conscious, renewable, 100% vegan hand-poured candles, and biodegradable, drawing inspiration from India's rich heritage and beauty.
